    According to a development of the invention it is provided that the base body has a circumferential, central, radial bearing elevation for mounting the decorative part. The bearing elevation runs along the circumferential direction on the base body - in particular along the entire circumference, whereby it is arranged and designed centrally in the sense that - seen along the ring center axis - it is arranged centrally on the base body. Starting from a foot of the bearing elevation, latching surfaces rising to the outside are formed on the base body on both sides, as seen along the ring center axis. In this way, an easy to manufacture and at the same time stable latching geometry is provided for fastening the side parts.
    The fact that the latching surfaces rise outwards means in particular that these rise from a center of the base body measured along the ring center axis, in each case in the direction of the sides of the base body. The fact that they rise means that a radial position of the outer circumferential surface, which forms the latching surfaces, measured from the ring center axis becomes larger along the latching surfaces outwards, that is to say to the side, that is to say it moves away from the ring center axis.     The locking tongues are arranged circumferentially on the respective side part, in particular at equal angular distances from one another. Preferably, however, the latching tongues are recessed in the area of the setting, in other words in an area in which the setting is arranged when the ring-shaped piece of jewelry is mounted. This enables a simple and stable arrangement of the socket also in the area of the side parts.
    According to a development of the invention, it is provided that the frame is designed as a solitary frame. The setting is therefore particularly designed to receive and hold a gemstone designed as a solitaire, in particular a diamond, preferably a brilliant.
    Alternatively or additionally, the decorative part has a further holder or a plurality of further holders, which is / are set up to accommodate gemstones.
